I use Paint.
ReplyDeleteWell in fact what I normally do is I draw by hand and then it is scanned in to the computer. I then use Paint to turn it into a bitmap. It makes it look a little bit square but I find it easier to place things pixel by pixel. Normally I draw a planet and then isolate countries and add extra detail country by country. There are many planets in my book and as the characters move about I have to be able to keep track of where they are.
Some of the planets in the first book are; Humanisan, Hasp, Krak, I'cethebad, Ash'ta'khe and several others.
I'll leave those as a surprise.
